Muzzleloader Pistol

I have a double-barrel, 20 gauge, smoothbore pistol. I believe it is open bore. Does anyone else have experience with one of these?

A buddy of mine ran a double barrel 20 gauge smoothbore pistol for a few seasons. He loaded patched round balls and a healthy measure of black powder, and it was a short range bruiser, great for close quarry but useless past 25 yards

That's a cool piece of history! Smoothbore pistols are neat. Remember to use ball and patch and keep the bore clean, they can be tough to shoot
