Summer might seem like the downtime for hunting, but it’s actually a great chance to gear up before the chaos hits. I’ve been checking my gear and trail cams while trying to stay in shape, but I know there’s always more to do—what's everyone else focusing on during the summer to get ready?

I have been doing the same. Looking at our gear to see what may be missing or needing updating. Where camera's will be set.

During summer I focus on scouting food sources, swapping SD cards on trail cams, and practicing with my bow. I also hike with my pack to build endurance so I'm ready come fall season

I use summer to check stands, shoot a few arrows, and hike the hills to stay sharp. Trail cams go up early so I can pattern movement, and I always give my gear a full tune-up
