Someone at work asked if hunting season means we just shoot anything that moves. I explained regulations, ethics, and selectivity, but I'm curious how you all handle these conversations. What's your go-to response when someone questions what we do?

I usually start with the ethics, we only take what's legal and what we can sustain. Sometimes, a story about a hunt helps drive the point home better than any rule could.

I worked in the construction trade for just shy of 45 years. I never had that question asked of me. But, if they're asking to bait one into starting an argument, there is no conversation as no explanation is possible.
