Lots of gun shows coming

Gun shows are way too tempting. Instead I watch things like Kramer Auctions. At least there is some chance that someone will outbid me and save me a lot of money. Then again there are ti when I end up outbidding someone. So much for saving money. 😖

How about we all keep each other accountable and we go to the gun show with no credit cards and no more than $100 in cash? Might work.... ;)

Then there would be absolutely no reason to waste time at a gun show. No sense going if you find something you really want, but then can't buy it. Save the gas money which is almost $5 a gallon these days, stay home and mow the lawn. dcf5fce4602b17ad2aec77f9930961f9.webp

The $100 limit would still allow me to buy a nice knife... My other hobby/passion/collection. But sometimes I'll need more $ ...

I think that I will be sticking to online auctions. Had a lot of great luck with Kramer in Prairie du Chien. Curt is very good at rating the individual firearms which are included in the descriptions. My most recent find, which Tom may find interesting was a New in Box S&W Equalizer. I got it for $240, while MSRP is currently $599 although they often sell for less. So far I am liking the grip and sights. Has an optics ready slide, which I won't be using but does add value at resale time. The added barrel length and sight radius will hopefully make it more accurate, especially at 50 and 100 yards.

That’s a clean score, sounds like you did way better than anything you’d stumble into at a gun show.

I like the idea but gun show self-control usually lasts about as long as you’re inside the door. :D
