Hello from Milwaukee

Welcome from Cottage Grove, sometimes referred to as Cabbage Patch. Do you hunt? If so what and where do you hunt?
Hello Cabbage Patch (aka Tabby). I was for many years a bird hunter, small game, etc.. Been disabled since 2015 so nothing recent. But I enjoy connecting with others in the sports. For now a friend takes me to the range. So more time hand then anything else.

I used to like hunting phesant, ducks and geese but these days due to physical limitations pretty much stick to Turkeys and Deer. I have been increasingly disabled since 2019 due to hip and knee issues due to injuries during Army service. I still am able to get out to the range and shoot on my own as long as I take my time walking downrange to put up and retrieve targets and enjoy target shooting and load development for my many rifles. Which range do you go to?

Mostly Wisconsin Firearm Training Center in Brookfield (indoor). Nice place, clean, good service. Health allowing I would like to find an outdoor range next summer. I use a roller walker or am in a wheelchair. The folks at WFTC are really great about accomodating me, and a good friend comes along to shoot and help me.

My outdoor range is the Deerfield Rod & Gun Club otherwise indoor ranges are Fletcher Arms in Pewaukee and Max Creek Outdoors in Oregon. I don't do a lot of shooting during the winter, spend most of the time either on the computer writing or on the bench reloading for the warm weather.
