How often do you change carry guns?

I’ve noticed my carry gun changes more than I expected depending on season. Sometimes I’ll stick with one for years, other times I rotate more often. How often do you switch carry guns, and what usually drives that decision?

I switch things up with the seasons. I use a compact gun most of the time, but I go even smaller in the summer because hiding it is my main thing.

I usually just stick with one carry gun for a while. I only switch when the weather changes or if it gets uncomfortable. I mostly switch for better hiding, not just to get something new.

I have to admit that I do not carry all the time, one day that may catch up with me but has worked out okay for a lot of years. I have two primary carry guns, a Kimber Micro 9 and a Sig P365. I have several different holsters for each. Which one I choose to carry is dictated by the clothing that I decide to wear that day, the expected activity, and sometimes any threat that might be expected. With lighter clothing its the Kimber, heavier clothing it's the Sig. I usually try to stay away from problem areas but if I have to go someplace not so safe there may be a backup M17 or 1911 hiding in my purse.
