Let's settle this...what's the best gas station food?

I'm talking about those 3am road trip stops. Personally, I think gas station hot dogs get too much hate. They're not good but they hit different at midnight. What's your go-to gas station grab? Taquitos? Pizza? Those sketchy burgers under the heat lamp? Rank your top three.

Honestly, I’m with you, hot dogs hit different at 3am. Taquitos and those sketchy pizza slices round out my top three.

For me it's a tie between Casey's pizza, you know the ones I mean, they're in a revolving glass case that's heated somehow. It's either that OR Kwik trips barbecue chicken from the hot and ready section. The stuffed nachos were pretty good as well though, and the cheese cheese are a definite yes.

Hands down, it's Buckey's sliced brisket sandwich.

If no choice I would say the dogs. If choice, move over at Buckey"s I am on the way. Or.... Waffle House, Pilot, etc.

Personally not a fan of Gas Station food. While Kwik Trip is better than most, it still leaves a lot to be desired. While it's got calories required to sustain life it lacks the flavor, texture and recency of preparation to satisfy my tastes. In some cases MRE's would be preferable and I don't like MRE's.

The last food I would eat is the roller dogs. You know , the hot dogs that have been rolling around on the heater machine for who knows how long. Being coughed and sneezed on...yummy!
Anything wrapped is fine with me.
