Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a reliable gunsmith in the area. If you've done trigger jobs or repairs with someone you trust, please share their info. Personal recommendations mean a lot!

Several were mentioned in a separate thread... what is local to you? A few mentioned were a bit far for me to drive unless I had a big project. Generally I do my own triggers without making any adjustments to the sear engagement areas nor springs. I worked with a gunsmith for a couple years and was taught enough to do my own work.

Wilderness Fish and Game in Sauk City, WI 608-643-5229 has a very good gunsmith on staff, but probably the best not only in the state but Midwest is America's Gunsmiths in Burlington, WI, 262-661-4349 I have had them do a lot of work on many of my firearms all professionally done, fairly quick turnaround and more than reasonable prices.

Virlee gun works built me one heck of a 338 Sherman that's an absolute tack driver

If he's still doing work, Randy Gregory of Accuracy Unlimited in Medford, WI is outstanding.
MJ Gunsmithing in Hubertus is very good as well.
