Long guns and handguns storage split

I'm running out of space for my rifles but I've still got room for handguns. I'm thinking about getting a separate cabinet just for my pistols. Do you keep all your guns together in one safe or separate?

In my case I stage them using separate Lock Vaults around the house. Quick to access from just about anywhere in the house.

Well, I have a few vaults but do find that my handguns have all accumulated in the oldest and smallest of the two. Most likely because it has a shelf to put them on.

My Handguns have there own safe, they needed there own space as they were cluttering up, in and out of all the safes. My problem now is the safe I bought is now not big enough. My liberty's measure 60X30X25, I bought an off name brand at Tracter sales on sale that measures 55X26X18, Big difference.
