Was out collecting leeches on public land in southern Wisconsin this past week.
A routine spot that I check daily. One day this past week I pulled into the same spot and noticed someone had thrown a tom turkey into the woodline next to the parking spot almost like they were comming back after it at a later time. Went about my buisness but the more I thought about it the madder I became, so I called the DNR and reported what I saw. Came back the next day and it was gone so the warden or the poacher came for it. BTW it was clearly not a vehicle kill and it was relatively fresh.
