I hope to get acquainted with you soon. I’ve been a shooter as far back as I can remember (Iam 78), black powder and smokeless. I retired some years ago with the intention of doing some shooting and gunsmithing. Well I’ve spent most of the time smithing and not much actually shooting.
I joined the army in 1967 and spent 18 months in Vietnam as a helicopter mechanic. Vietnam wasn’t much fun but R&R in Bangcock sure was!

Welcome aboard! What kind of gunsmithing projects have you been enjoying working on most lately?

Where were you in Vietnam? I was over there as a helicopter mechanic 1n 67 and 68. (Was starting into my 6 month extension they had me DROS to the 82nd Airborne. I decided I would rather stay in Nam and dealing with Hueys down in Vinh Long instead of the Airborne mentality) when I got shot on Ground Hogs day during TET 68.
