I picked up a beat-up .22 rifle planning to flip it for a quick profit. I took it to the range just to make sure it worked and ended up loving how it shot. Five years later, it’s still in my safe, and I’ve probably shot it more than anything else I own.

Ain't that the way it goes. Had a 22 revolver but never a rifle. People at the range that have them rave about them. Maybe that's my next gun???

Been there. I've bought rifles solely to change into something else, caliber, cartridge etc. But also have made the mistake...Mistake?, of shooting them 1st. Some ended up being very accurate or just fit, oh so good. So another joins the Family and finds a place with the brethren in the safe, behind the door, leaned up in the corner......... "Aint it great!"

You planned to sell her, but she proved loyalty now she’s basically family..
