Carrying into a grocery store

First time I carried into a grocery store I was convinced everyone could tell. Nobody cared, nobody looked and nobody noticed. Two years later I realize the world is very, very focused on itself.

Ain't that the truth. And, I think we CCW folks tend to be far more concerned about printing and showing than need be because we know the rules. But, to have anyone care you would have to dig and claw their faces off their phones. I cannot help but notice that very few people are situationally aware.

Unless you are ex military or police the chances of being aware of what is going on around you will not happen. People are so locked into their own little world that they are impervious to anything going on around them. It's not only the cell phones it being unaware of what the politicians they have elected are actually doing as they enact laws and ordinances that make the average citizen law breakers while quietly robbing them blind, raising taxes and stuffing their own pockets with taxpayer money. Personally, I think that prior to being put on any ballot those running for any elected position should have to undergo a thorough background check as well as a thorough investigation prior to being allowed to run as an incumbent. Ever wonder how many could pass the scrutiny?
