I used to break my wrist on every shot and wonder why I was printing low and left. One hour with a good coach fixed what two years of "self-correcting" couldn't.
There is no good way to approach the problem, for me being female doubles the issue even when on the range and seeing a guy doing something wrong. Men don't like to be told they are doing something wrong by a woman, so there is that. They would rather continue to make the same mistake over and over than admit to it. As for trying to tell someone that they are teaching something wrong in front of said wife or girlfriend, there is no good way to do that. If you can't get them off to the side away from the one they are trying to teach all that will happen is that they will become angry with you because you made them look bad in front of the person that they were trying to teach. It's a lot easier to create a bad habit, than it is to break it. I see people teaching their girlfriends, children, and wives bad habits all the time. If you try to tell them what they are doing wrong the sh!t will hit the fan. I don't know the best way to approach this problem.
