Great Blue Herons are beginning to return to their nests in Southern Wisconsin.

I had seen many Blue and Green Herons in NH but never nesting. Very cool, I'll have to watch for them now.

I can't wait for the spring arrival of the Sandhill Crains.

The Sandhills have been back here for a week or two, what part of the state do you live in?

Jefferson County... I thought I had heard a pair of them flying over a few days back. I enjoyed hearing them fly over when I lived in Indiana years ago. I thought the flyovers were mostly in early April.

Spent a lot of time losing my hearing at Pine Valley. Once upon a time, to make money for school, I drove charter coaches. Had my one big wreck right over on 11. The train museum is great. The food joints aren't bad for a quick meal either. Have fun!
