Do you dry food?

We had dehydrated in the past using a stack on style unit... We have recently picked up a smaller cabinet style unit made by Cosori. I've only unboxed it and plugged it in out in the garage.. Waiting to use it still.

Thanks Indigo22. I have heard of the Cosori and understand that it is really great. What do you dry? Are you a jerky guy or do you work with all kinds of things? We have a small pantry of items, but have never dried anything. From YT I have looked at, it seems a great way to store some things.

Aware of some people who do venison or beef jerky in their driers. Others use them to dry fresh fruit in season in order to have them in winter. Had not thought about veg. Either way it sounds interesting. Let me/us know how it goes. In the meantime I will look for some good looking recipes. My diet, for health reasons, is low sodium, low potassium and just generally healthy. But, I see some recipes that are really good for each and want to give them a try. I'll pass along what I find if you are interested.
